Trello Power-Up permissions

What Trello asks for during install and how to scope board access safely.

Trello Power-Ups request board-level access so they can read and update cards during normal use.

Install checklist

  1. Confirm you are an admin or have permission to add Power-Ups on the board.
  2. Install from the official Marketplace listing linked on each product page.
  3. Enable the Power-Up on a test board before rolling out to client boards.
  4. Document which boards are in scope for your team.

Security practices

  • Remove Power-Ups from boards that no longer need them
  • Use workspace admin controls to limit who can add integrations
  • Pair installs with Nikaj account review in /dashboard
