Restore a deleted Trello card
Search card history and recover deleted or archived work with Card Vault+.
Deleted cards are not always gone forever. Card Vault+ helps teams search history and restore work when cleanup went too far.
Before you restore
- Confirm the card was on a board where Card Vault+ was enabled
- Check whether the card was deleted or only archived in Trello
- Prefer restoring to the original list when that list still exists
Restore workflow
- Open Card Vault+ on the board.
- Search by card title, keyword, or timeframe.
- Open the card history entry you need.
- Choose restore and confirm the destination list.
- Verify attachments, labels, and description content after restore.
If restore is not available
- The card may predate Power-Up installation
- The board may have been removed from Card Vault+ coverage
- Create a manual replacement card and link to any export you saved with Board Export+
